Our pub is holding another ‘Race night’ tonight, so soon after the last one but I and my ex. will be going. It is a bit of fun, it is a social event and we not only get the chance to support a charity but there are prizes too, oh and the pub gets the custom so everyone benefits one way or another. Today I am resting from work and I am dressed as they say in my ‘No intention gear’! That is no intention to work! I am smartly dressed in casual wear and ready to go out somewhere. Problem is I have an appointment with my electrologist at 2pm so I’ll probably not go out until this evening when we go to the pub. It is nice to be able to dress in clothes other than what I wear for work. I went out this morning to deliver two medical prescriptions to my doctor’s surgery. One is for my meds. and one is for my ex.. When I returned home and parked my vehicle I noticed that the rear tyre on my ex.’s car had a screw embedded in it. I tried to remove it and as I did it let out air. I went inside and told her the good news. We came out and I changed the wheel for her. She has taken it to a local guy who will repair it. I am glad I wasn’t at work for she may have driven the car without noticing the screw and the tyre might have suffered a blowout and possibly caused an accident. It’s a reminder to remember checking your wheels before you drive away.
