Tonight I am taking family and friends out to a Christmas dinner. It will be my treat, I am footing the bill but I’m not sure who’ll be footing me! I would have liked it to be nearer Christmas but not all of my guests could then have come. This morning I got one job completed. It was a new conservatory under construction but mostly finished, however it was rather cold and I had to do the job wearing my coat! The young guy, the owner of the house was keen to help me so I instructed him to carry out part of the work and we got the job finished in two hours. That meant I now have the rest of the day off. No doubt I’ll be having an extra lie in bed tomorrow morning.
