Had a great time last night with family and friends. It actually snowed early in the evening, most unusual for Southport but today it has all disappeared which isn’t unusual around these parts. It pretty much doesn’t snow in Southport although what did fall, about a quarter of an inch has stuck on the grass where it is colder. The streets are cold and dry but there will be ice about. I didn’t get my extra lie in bed simply because I just can’t lie there when I am awake. I got up at 7 and skipped breakfast, just had me a drink and played guitar for an hour or so and waited for everyone else to get up. First person was my ex. followed by J who had stopped over after drinking a wee bit too much. He wasn’t the only one who did that though…LOL. A bit later my son appeared. I am ready to go out and work but have no jobs scheduled for today. I have a couple of them to do before Christmas and no doubt they won’t be the only ones! So I am inside, nice and warm and it is cold outside.
