I notice that some folk are looking at this post from a month or two back. I have taken Meebo of my page because it won’t work as it should, that is the chat area isn’t displaying comments. I made a comment on this on my New Stuff and Info page.

I had a stomach upset yesterday and suffering with trapped wind didn’t help either. Something I ate to be sure. I awoke a few times during the night, partly to relieve the wind and partly to visit the toilet. At around 5.15 I saw that it was light outside and drew back my bedroom curtains. Over to the east the sky was a vivid orange-red colour gradually fading to a beautiful blue as I looked westward. The sun had risen, just, but it wasn’t quite visible because of the intervening houses and trees. I returned to bed for a while then after a half hour or so I saw the sunshine on the west wall of my room. It lasted for 15 minutes before it faded away. The sun was up and beginning to rise getting further south as it does. My room faces north by north-east so it only gets the sunshine in the morning and then only from the first few days in March until the last few in September. After that it rises too far south. I watch its progress on that west wall as I lie in bed. My bed is on the opposite wall facing. By the height of summer, that is the solstice on June 21 the sun will shine onto the far left of that wall and even a little onto the south wall which is facing the windows. It’s like a seasonal sundial repeating itself annually. The deciduous trees in the garden have growing buds on them and it won’t be too long before we will have leaves again. Each day the weather gets warmer. This week has been exceptionally nice although not too warm at around 6 to 8 degC. Today we are expecting the same but by the end of the week maybe 9 to 11 degC. Spring is on the way, officially one week after this Sunday but unofficially it started a few days ago in my thoughts.
